Cloud trial or Full Installation - which one to choose?

Most people start with a 'Cloud trial'.

The 'Cloud-trial' gives you instant access to a single clearString site hosted on one of our servers. This is set up as a Tutorial so you can learn how to work with the system. You get to work with a clearString website without having to do any set up, and you can convert the Tutorial site into your own fully personalized site.

Then move to a Full Installation.

Doing a Full Installation gives you complete access to the multi-site capability of the neatComponents engine that powers all clearString sites. You'll need your own suitable computer to install onto. The Installed version allows you to create an unlimited number of independent websites and applications, and gives full domain and user controls.

Once installed you have the same Tutorial site available.

Browser based
Once installed ALL further operations are browser based - you continue to use the browser and OS of your choice to design, build and manage your applications and websites.

clearstring and neatComponents
The neatComponents platform (the server) powers your clearString sites. The server manages all your hosting - you design, configure and manage on your browser in OSX, Linux, or Windows.

It installs quickly and easily from a single integrated download. No server management knowledge is required.

You can install onto a physical machine, a virtual machine or a cloud instance. neatComponents then provides a complete hosting environment with integrated codeless web development software from one download. Read more about Installation.
